Overview

Azure Blob Storage provides scalable object storage for unstructured data including files, images, and backups. In this foundational lab, I created a storage account with locally redundant storage (LRS), created a blob container, and uploaded files — covering the core workflow for provisioning and using Azure Blob Storage through the portal.

What I Did

Created a storage account in the lab resource group's region with LRS redundancy and a globally unique name
Created a blob container named "my-container" with default access settings (private)
Uploaded local files to the container via the Upload blob panel and confirmed the objects appeared in the container view
Reviewed individual blob properties after upload to confirm successful storage
