2. Navigated to Adaptive Protection → Settings.
3. Enabled Adaptive Protection and reviewed integration with Insider Risk Management.
4. Created a policy to escalate protection levels based on user risk scores.
5. Configured actions such as auto-labeling and restricted sharing for high-risk users.
6. Simulated risky behavior to trigger adaptive response.
7. Verified policy enforcement and reviewed audit logs.

Outcome

Adaptive Protection successfully configured and validated. Microsoft 365 now dynamically adjusts data protection controls based on user risk, enhancing security posture and reducing manual intervention.
